I received your book yesterday in the mail. Last night I read your book to my 3 year old daughter. Not only is the message in your book so beautiful and powerful it was a “gift” to read this book to my daughter.
My 3 year old daughter loved the illustrations but she loved the story. Not only did I read it to her once but she asked for it twice.
This morning I was so surprised. My daughter came up to me and said “Mommy I am unique and I am sooooo Beautiful and touched my face gently when she said this. There and then I knew she got the story and the message behind your book.
Once I thought that was sweet. My daughter came up to me and said “Mommy can I bring this for my show in tell at preschool tomorrow and tell my friends it is special to be unique”.
I am going to ask the teacher at her preschool if she would like to read this book to the class when my daughter brings your book for show in tell.
Your book is so powerful! What a great reminder!
